One of the biggest stories in the NFL with the trade deadline passed is where wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. signs once he gets healthy. We are already in November, and the NFL season is about halfway over. Will teams sign him for the month of December and potentially make a run for the Super Bowl in January/February?
Time remains to be seen, and Odell Beckham Jr. was with the Los Angeles Rams and the Cleveland Browns last season. Beckham Jr. tore his ACL in Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals. NFL fans are making NFL picks and parlays every week. Which teams could potentially sign Odell Beckham Jr. once he is healthy?
New York Giants
The New York Giants is where his NFL career started. Odell Beckham Jr. continues to visit the New York Giants facility. He has a few friends in the building from Sterling Shepard to Saquon Barkley to Daniel Jones. General manager Joe Schoen isn’t keeping it out of the question, but the problem is New York is in cap hell that they may not be able to sign him.
Beckham Jr. has stayed in touch with New York Giants owner John Mara. Odell Beckham Jr. wants to come back to New York, and the biggest problem with him with this franchise was formerly general manager Dave Gettleman. Head coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka would love to have him.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams feel broken outside of the Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp connection. One of the issues might be the offensive line because of the retirement of Andrew Whitworth, but they have some other players that have been replaced on the offensive line due to injury.
Los Angeles is not in good shape to potentially be a playoff team this season. Head coach Sean McVay would love to have Odell Beckham Jr. back, but it may be too little too late. They can only make the playoffs this year, most likely as an NFC West division winner also.
The Baltimore Ravens need all of the wide receiver help they can get. Rashod Bateman is their top wide receiver and he has been injured for most of the season. Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson are two of their other wide receivers right now for quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Baltimore is in a win-now made with Jackson in a contract year. Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely are their tight ends. Head coach John Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Mark Roman need an explosive wide receiver like Odell Beckham Jr. on the Ravens badly. They will most likely win the AFC North this season but will need playmakers to try and upset the Buffalo Bills or the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.
This could be the perfect place for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to win another Super Bowl. Outside linebacker Von Miller has tried to recruit him to Buffalo, and they were teammates for like half a season with the Los Angeles Rams last season. The Bills are a wagon to deal with offensively. Josh Allen might be the best quarterback in the NFL and is on his way to winning MVP.
Gabriel Davis and Stefon Digs is a legit receiving core. Odell Beckham Jr. in the slot for offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey would be a nightmare for other teams. Head coach Sean McDermott is one of the best head coaches in the NFL.
The Tennessee Titans need a playmaker badly. A.J. Brown is not there anymore. Treylon Burks, the rookie wide receiver, is currently on injured reserve. Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are the top two current receivers in Tennessee. Kyle Phillips is a decent third receiver, but they don’t have anyone over the top to throw to for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
Head coach Mike Vrabel knows this is a ground-and-pound football team with running back Derrick Henry. We will see if the Tennessee Titans make a move, but general manager Jon Robinson may not have enough cap space to sign wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for the remainder of the 2022 NFL regular season.
